Drinks in Vienna?
Posted: Jul. 30, 2009

I will be in Vienna (Stockerau actually) from the 24th to the 27th of August.

If anyone wants to join for drinks and/or dinner in Vienna, I would be really happy. Maybe the locals have an idea for a "Hotspot"? If not, I will activate my colleagues in Vienna and post a location the week before.

So how about the 25th of August?

Ciao
Ina

Update August 10th:

I have opted for the Schweizerhaus in the Prater as it is easy to reach from all parts of Vienna. Hopefully the weather is decent so we can sit outside. I will put up a sign with VT written on it.
So, don't be shy and join us ... jumpingnorman wants a jumping VTer picture, so the more the merrier!

Link to Schweizerhaus with map and travel information:
http://www.schweizerhaus.at/1024/eng/index.html

Meeting time 8 p.m.
Reservation is made with my nick name INA

UPDATE August 23rd:
The Schweizerhaus does not accept reservations after 7 p.m. I will set up a sign with VT Meet on the table (hopefully in the garden area). Just in case I have sent you a mail with my mobile phone number.

See you soon!

Drinking and chatting
Posted: Sep. 18, 2009

My fellow travelers!

Tomorrow i will arrive in Vienna. Sunday i want to plan a meeting with a start at 19.00 o clock at Wombats BASE City Hostel. Just to know some members, and chat with each other. After our meeting at the bar at Wombats, we can go wherever we agree to go. We can go to a pub or discotheque, or do some activities. Most important is that the evening will be fun!

Who wants to come?

Adres: Gransgasse 6
A-1150 Vienna

greetings Jessica

Klimt, Schiele & an excursion to Hermesvilla
Posted: Oct. 31, 2009

Lets meet at Karlsplatz and take a look into the museum there for some great paintings of Klimt & Schiele.
Afterwards we take the tram and do also a bit of walking in order to get to Hermesvilla, a small palace in the outskirts of Vienna. It was the favorite palace of empress Sissi.
All of the places we are visiting today are free every sunday, so all that you need is a ticket for the trams.
