I am going to the Philadelphia Air Force Week during May 26 - June 2 (http://www.airforceweekinphiladelphia.com). I already found VTer Benwrite who will be working at the Air Force events & just wondering if anyone else would like to meet in the evening for a drink.

I'll be in town for a week and would love to go out for dinner/a drink or two, whatever. No definite plans, but preferrably somewhere with air conditioning! Saturday night works good for me, so far, but it can be changed.

VT meeting for early summer in NYC will be on June 21. Dining for lunch will be at Metro Marche French Braserrie. Its a french style restaurant with decent prices. We have a nicely priced pre-fixe menu of about $24.95 a person. This is actually the best way to do this. Its located in Times Square. Address is 625 8th Avenue at 41st Street. Commencement of the luncheon will be at 12:00. Would like confirmations 1-2 weeks prior to date. This way, there will be enough time to make changes if need be.

Myself Saf from India will be visitng Ontario province of Canada on late June and Early July 08. I will be staying one week in Toronto. I want to know from anyone of you what are the best places to visit in Canada? I would love to accompnay a groug or any member. Can anyone help me find a friend?

Please join me in welcoming VT member 'Soulanjuli' back from over a year of service in Iraq. It's been awhile since we've had a local event and I can't think of a better reason to celebrate this summer.

This is a great place with a view of water,lots of fruity drinks, and cool live music. Great happy hour drinks and food from 4-7.We have a VIP reserved booth from 4-8. Afterwards we can kick it there or walk over to the Auld Dubliner for drinks and an Irish band.

If you are taking public transportation, the closest el station is Belmont on the Blue line (make sure you are on the blue line going towards O'Hare as there is another Belmont stop on the Brown line)

Part II of Matcrazy1 and Matcrazy0's VT meetings has been changed because of the Chicago Greeter that I was able to set up, Polish food is now on Saturday. For Sunday, it's a two parter, 1st let's meet at the corner of State and Chicago ABOVE GROUND at the Chicago red line stop at 10:30 am for a ride down to Chinatown for their summer festival, we'll grab dim sum for lunch, watch the parade.

Then the Crazies and I have tickets for the White Sox, I have one extra ticket if anyone is interested and the best part is that it is free :-)

Part II will be deep dish pizza at Lou Malnati's River North location at 439 N. Wells at 5:30.

I will be in Las Vegas on Tuesday July 29 wednesday July 30 & Thursday July 31 2008 .
If anyone happens to be in Vegas during that time or close by in the area ,why not have a drink or lunch or dinner together .

All Carolinians and Virginians, Georgians, hell anywhere in the South: Pay heed! A VT meet is in the making. Apparently there haven't been many (if ANY!) VT meets in the NC area, so be a part of VT History!

We plan to have a leisurely meal on Saturday August 23rd around 1pm at a restaurant To Be Determined. (Post me if you have ideas!)

I will go to Mexico D.F. august 23rd. Should spend few days in the area, then go north. I will go back to take my plane on september 12th.
I would be happy to meet locals or tourists when I will be there.

My wife and I are visiting my son who just moved to London. It would be nice to finally meet some of the VT members in the area.

Details to be established later, but the idea is to meet in London for brunch followed by some VTish thing (winery, walk about the town, etc.)

Presumably we would meet at noonish or 1pm. The date is probably fixed, but other details are subject to decision of those expressing an interest in attending.

Well, they say that everything is bigger in Texas, and the members of VT - Texas Edition want to prove this to you. Having experience with large meets in Australia and New Zealand, we would like to host everyone in town for a weekend of big food and fun.
