Calling all Oranje fans
Posted: Feb. 24, 2008

It will probably be the most crucial match of the year for Oranje - our second game in the "group of death" against the favourites France.

Bring your Oranje kits, paint your face, settle down at the PH sports bar with a bottle of "heerlijk, helder, Heineken" and support your team!!

Drinks / dinner on Summer Solstice in New Orleans?
Posted: May. 28, 2008

I'll be in town for a week and would love to go out for dinner/a drink or two, whatever. No definite plans, but preferrably somewhere with air conditioning! Saturday night works good for me, so far, but it can be changed.

New York Meeting
Posted: Feb. 11, 2008

VT meeting for early summer in NYC will be on June 21. Dining for lunch will be at Metro Marche French Braserrie. Its a french style restaurant with decent prices. We have a nicely priced pre-fixe menu of about $24.95 a person. This is actually the best way to do this. Its located in Times Square. Address is 625 8th Avenue at 41st Street. Commencement of the luncheon will be at 12:00. Would like confirmations 1-2 weeks prior to date. This way, there will be enough time to make changes if need be.

Matcrazy 1 and his lovely wife Matcrazy 0 are coming to Chicago in July and I thought it would be nice to have a meeting to welcome them to Chicago. Since the Crazies are doing a tour of Polish Chicago with a Chicago Greeter in the morning, the Greeter thought it would be nice to have lunch at a Polish restaurant afterward. Please meet us at 12:15pm at:

Red Apple (Czerwone Jabluszko)
3121 N. Milwaukee Ave. Chicago, IL 60618
Tel. 773.588.5781

Red Apple is a Polish buffet, the cost is $10.99

Posted: Jun. 03, 2008

All Carolinians and Virginians, Georgians, hell anywhere in the South: Pay heed! A VT meet is in the making. Apparently there haven't been many (if ANY!) VT meets in the NC area, so be a part of VT History! Come one - come all... bring guests and your great travel spirit!

We plan to have a leisurely meal on Saturday August 23rd around 1pm. It will be at The Federal (http://www.thefederal.net/menu/menu.html)

FEDERAL: 914 West Main Street Durham NC 27701 ph# 919.680.8611

Seems like it has about everything we could ask for: Reasonable enough prices & interesting menu plus a full bar.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
