I will visit again France in June and start with two days in Paris. I want to meet members from France or travelers just visiting Paris. June 13th is Friday night so restaurants and bars might be crowded but we can always meet some place near a metro station and walk from there.

Dear friends, I have been living in this beautiful city of Aix-en-Provence for the past 2 months and am here only till 26th June. Before I leave, I would love to attend a VT meeting with VT Members from This city and nearby cities as well as those visiting here. My son and I are making a trip to include Bangkok (other parts of Thailand) and Cambodia (especially Ankor Wat). We really don't know enough and would like to meet with others that may be doing something similar from this date to a month forward. Would like an evening meeting 1900 hrs or so. We will be at Suk 11 hostel. Could easily meet somewhere for dinner or just drinks. I've traveled a lot but haven't traveled a lot lately. I'm older (66) and he's younger (15). Anyone of similar interests?

I'll be in town for a week and would love to go out for dinner/a drink or two, whatever. No definite plans, but preferrably somewhere with air conditioning! Saturday night works good for me, so far, but it can be changed.

VT meeting for early summer in NYC will be on June 21. Dining for lunch will be at Metro Marche French Braserrie. Its a french style restaurant with decent prices. We have a nicely priced pre-fixe menu of about $24.95 a person. This is actually the best way to do this. Its located in Times Square. Address is 625 8th Avenue at 41st Street. Commencement of the luncheon will be at 12:00. Would like confirmations 1-2 weeks prior to date. This way, there will be enough time to make changes if need be.

As Bernd, Andrea, Kathrin, Christine and Heinz did have so much to do with preparation of the big meet in Karlsruhe, they didn't have time and were probably too exhausted to join us on that Friday.

So in honour of their huge tasks which they managed so fantastic I thought I'd invite them to Speyer and we do a little past-meet trip through this lovely town.

We should meet at 10/10:30 in front of the cathedral and can most probably visit Dreifaltigkeitskirche (it should be open on Sundays after mass), the cathedral, the historical museum (remember, there is a fantastic Samurai exhibition running), Mikwe, Altpörtel and walk through the side alleys and the cute and picturesque Hasenpfuhl.

Looking forward to drag you through Speyer :-)

Yes, it's time for another VT meeting! Marion (Mazzap) and her family will be visiting Malta yet again and so will Ian (Dick_33) and his partner. I'm not exactly sure about the venue just yet, but was thinking about Zeppi's in Balluta Bay, St Julians at 8pm....any suggestions are welcome.

Zeppi's restaurant has a small outdoor section with a nice view of Balluta Bay which is ideal for the summer months. The food is really good and reasonably priced.

Looking forward to seeing all my VT friends, those I've met and perhaps some new ones too. Do join us if you're visiting Malta! Write to me if you need transport!
